A: McKinley Marketing is a consulting firm dedicated to helping associations advance their missions and achieve their visions. We help associations create value, effectively promote programs and services, identify member and customer needs, determine and implement appropriate dues structures, and generate non-dues income. We deliver the strategic thinking, tactical support and practical solutions associations need to tackle our clients’ most pressing challenges.

Q: My organization is not headquartered in Washington, DC or Chicago. Can we still work with McKinley Marketing?
A: Of course. Many of our clients are headquartered outside Washington, DC and Chicago. With today’s technology and McKinley Marketing’s innovation and flexibility, distance is the most minor of obstacles. With an increasing number of organizations popping up all over the country—we have done our fair share of traveling. While there is no substitute for a face-to-face meeting, much of our work can be conducted virtually.
Q: Who is the “McKinley” of McKinley Marketing?
A: Actually, there is no "McKinley". Our company was founded in 1994 by Jodie Slaughter, who liked the "ring" of McKinley Marketing. In truth, we simply "borrowed" the McKinley name—and so far it has worked.
